Q:Hey A&D, What do you recommend as casual wear for a guy who hates to get dressed up (will never touch a tie) and has a very strong dislike for button down shirts?
Our version of casual wear would be a button down and jeans or chinos and a nice pair of desert boots or wingtips.
BUT HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE BUTTON DOWNS??
They’re definitely the most versatile item you can have in your closet. We strongly think you should reconsider your opinion of them. It’ll limit your wardrobe a lot. You don’t have to wear “dress” shirts, you can wear casual oxford cloth button downs or chambray or a plain ass cotton button down.
Anyway, guess we’d recommend a pair of dark denim jeans and tees or polo shirts. Throw on a cardigan too and wear a pair of canvas sneakers.

WIW Last Weekend: Anthony
Remember when you were little and your mom would tell you to tuck in your shirt because you looked sloppy? Well as it turns out she was right….well sometimes. Wore this on Mother’s Day this past weekend and was surprised at the difference a tucked in shirt could make. In fact, it makes ALL the difference in taking this simple outfit from casual to a bit more dressy. Though it might not work for every outfit, it’s an easy way to upgrade your outfit to looking more sophisticated and mom-approved. Lesson learned, mom. And don’t forget to wear a nice belt with your outfit guys!

WE DON’T SLEEP!
haha we just try to balance everything out. We get this a lot so guess we should answer this finally. We usually take our pics between Friday and Sunday while going out, running errands, having fun. And we bring our camera out a lot cause you never know!

Light Wash Denim
It’s spring time (in most parts anyway) which means it’s time to give your go-to dark denim jeans a break here and there and try a lighter wash of denim. You’re wearing brighter colors and your skin’s getting some sun, so why not do the same with your jeans? A nice sun faded or bleached denim is a great look for this season and is pretty easy to pull off. The shade will vary but most pairs will fall into the pale blue category, so pair them with darker neutral solids for a nice contrast or do what we did here and go for muted stripes with a pop of color for the shoe.

Q:two things. first, both of you are adorable. second thing do you guys have instagram?
We sure do. What kind of bloggers would we be if we didn’t have instagram?? Someone needs to see what we eat, wear, and do. And dogs. Lots and lots of cute dog pics.
Spring Prints
Camo and floral prints are pretty big right now, but don’t forget about animal prints. Sure it can be risky, but if worn the right way it can make a bold style statement. (Or maybe Jersey is just getting to us…) For this outfit, we channeled Brad Pitt’s character in the Ocean’s Trilogy. So we present, “Dusty Ryan,” the outcast from Ocean’s Eleven. The white pants/navy blazer combo is pretty classic so we knew we could experiment with a vibrant print for the shirt. If you’re looking to make a statement, choose one bold item and keep the rest of the outfit toned down so it doesn’t look too loud. We’ll be showcasing more of our printed/patterned shirt looks in the upcoming months for more inspiration.
