Bold Prints

Sorry for spamming you guys with our NYE outfits. We know you’re probably still hungover depending on what time zone you’re in, and looking at crazy patterns isn’t helping that fact but alas, the blogging must go on! For the last day of the year we decided to take a risk and experiment with bolder patterns. This is not our typical night time party attire but this occasion called for a bold statement.  We’re not even sure how we would describe these looks but we’ll try our best to explain it in fashiony terms. Dustin went with a retro mod kinda look with the floral print shirt paired with a navy suit. Bright red/orange (what color is that exactly?) vintage wingtips and lime green socks for a touch of fun. Anthony went with a more modern look kinda like, uhmm, Prince? Brad Goreski? LOL we’re not really sure but those two came to mind. The leopard print shirt paired with a black suit and jazzed up (ha who says that) with an oversized bow tie, purple socks, and white-soled black laceups were definitely NYE appropriate.

We took these pics outside before we started our festivities but by the crap quality of the photos you might’ve thought we were already 2 bottles of bubbly deep… Night photos are hard, OKAY?? Anywhoo, we hope everyone had a wonderful New Year’s Eve and didn’t look half as foolish as we did ;-)

On Dustin:

Suit - H&M (the very classy, high end, expensive section)

Shirt - Andrew Charles, on sale at Macy’s for $70 $35 (Sidenote: we don’t usually shop at Macy’s but were pretty surprised to find that they have some good stuff. We found this shirt in that really weird section that’s not really Men’s or Young Men’s but kinda like in the middle section with all the random men’s party attire looking brands. We still believe this was a good find).

Tie - DKNY Men

Socks - Uniqlo

Shoes - Vintage, Another Man’s Treasure

On Anthony:

Suit - H&M (Again the classy section - we are millionaires that have tons of money to invest in such high quality suits)

Shirt - Andrew Charles, on sale at Macy’s for $70 $18 (See sidenote above)

Bowtie - Thrifted, Goodwill

Socks - J.Crew

Shoes - AldenAldo

Location - Our apartment, Jersey City, NJ
