Q:Scarves! Which styles are the best for men, and when are they appropriate? Good as a stylish accessory or should they only be used for practicality's sake?
We use scarves for warmth during the winter but of course we want them to look good and go with our outfits.
For a winter scarf we like a long chunky knit in a solid color because it’s more versatile and can work with our outerwear. You can’t really go too wrong with scarves - patterns, stripes, bold colors - are all good options depending on your style. They can make a big statement without costing a lot of money.
As far as our style goes, we don’t really believe in the “indoor” scarf as an accessory. It just seems weird to us. But again that’s just us.

The Nordic Sweater - Holiday Style
We’re huge fans of “ugly sweaters” so it’s about time we showcased more of them. This season the ski sweater or nordic sweater or whatever fashiony peoples are calling them these days are popping up all over the place, from our favorite stores to magazines and online. Here’s Dustin (not this time bitch =P). It’s Anthony sporting our favorite new vintage find, and just in time for the holidays. U mad grandpa?
Shopping note: Compare the similar Ralph Lauren Rugby sweater to our vintage version. Similar style and colors and overall look. You can save a lot by buying vintage if you can’t afford the luxury brand and you’ll end up with something a little more personal. If you want to take advantage of this damn good sale however, you can click here.

Urban Sailor
With all the rain we’ve had over here the past 2 days, this outfit seemed right on trend - with the weather at least. The hat is a new purchase that we absolutely love. It has a nautical look to it with the blue and navy color combo. Even though it’s probably more of summer hat, wearing it with fall/winter clothes injects an element of fun and surprise to the look. The peacoat also plays up the nautical theme a bit more. For the bottom half we went with military style boots to add an urban feel that keeps the outfit relevant for our city lifestyles.
