Wanna Go Steady?
Last night we got into a bit of an argument, as all couples tend to do. And despite all the anger and frustration we were feeling, we worked through it. Deep down we know we love each other but that doesn’t mean we’re always gonna “like” each other and that’s normal. And it’s okay. And it just means that we need to communicate better and remember why we are together in the first place (to double our wardrobe…kiddinggggg).
The point is, Dustony is a team! And looking at our blog is a great reminder of that. It’s began to chronicle our time together and show us the great things we can accomplish when we do them together. And that is something very special to us and we are very proud.
To all our followers, thanks for following us on this journey so far (oh yes we did…!). We appreciate all the kind words and support over the past 6 months. You really help drive us to keep the blog going. So thank you.

The Corduroy Jacket
So this winter weather has been weird. I mean, normally I wouldn’t wear a lightweight jacket and wear it open, in early February but hey, if the sun’s out like it was this past weekend then might as well go ahead and dress for the weather and not the season. Plus it’s also a great excuse to get more wear outta this corduroy jacket that Dustin got me for my birthday since I am such an awesome boyfriend (he’s nodding in agreement).
Nothing groundbreaking here in terms of this look. Just shades of brown, and navy pants - had to make sure I wear all my “winter” colors before spring comes, which despite what the groundhog says, appears to be just around the corner.

The Plaid Jacket
Another day, another post. Here’s Dustin sporting a forgotten jacket, lost way in the back of our closet. With such a bold jacket, we decided to tone it down with a muted color palette of brown and tan. The yellow handles on the tote add the perfect touch of color and a classic pair of shades and a simple bracelet are easy accessories to finish the look.
