Q:do you know where to get nice floral print or any print button up shirts?
Dustony Recommends: Floral Print Shirts
French Connection - We own this one
Woolen Rich Mills - Anthony’s top pick
Gitman Brothers Vintage - Dustin’s top pick
Original Penguin - Simple, subtle
Karmakula - Hawaiian
UPDATE: Thanks to Alex for recommending this affordable option from L.E.C.
Lands’ End Canvas - Hawaiian
When it’s too warm to layer your clothing in the spring/summer months, floral print shirts are just one way to add interest to your outfits. They can be bold, subtle, or vintage feeling depending on what print you choose, but no matter what, they’ll always be fun. The options above are some of our favorites for the season.
Can’t afford some of these options? Try your local vintage or thrift store. You’ll be surprised at the selection of printed shirts and Hawaiian shirts available - stores are usually stocked full with them. The best part is, you’ll save yourself some money, and you can always use the savings to get the shirt tailored for a more modern slim fit.
Happy Shopping!

Dustony Goes Shopping: Vintage Style
So how does Dustony celebrate Cinco De Mayo? By going (drunk?) shopping obviouslyyyy. We stopped into Another Man’s Treasure with Matthew & Michael over the weekend to visit our friend Laura who manages the store. We had fun trying on blazers, printed shirts, and shoes. We even got a pair of new shoes which we’ll show you in another post. Oh, and Matthew taught us how to properly tie a bow tie! No more clip ons anymore.
If you’re ever looking to find some great vintage pieces for guys and girls, we definitely recommend a visit to Another Man’s Treasure in Jersey City. Don’t be scared to cross the Hudson all you New Yorkers. Snookie and JWoww wrapped filming on their Jersey Shore spinoff a few months ago, so it’s officially safe.

Q:do you guys thrift? you should make a thrifting post :3
Q:How do you guys feel about acid wash jeans/denim?
Acid wash jeans are cool. Definitely have to be your “style” though and something you’d be comfortable in. We have some acid wash denim cuttoffs and used to have a pair of pants but they have sadly been retired.
We typically prefer washes that don’t have so much contrast - more of a subtle acid wash.
Quick search, but here’s some pairs we liked.

Dustony Recommends: Smart Sweatpants
Whether you’re looking for a denim alternative or just want something a little softer for spring, smart sweatpants are a great option. Here’s a few of our picks to get you started.

Roll them, cuff them, hike them up and don’t be afraid them to wear them with something more dressy than a tee.

Q:I want to change up my style. I already have a few blazers, but I want more. Also I love to wear jeans and simi-short shorts. It's just sometimes it's hard for me to find shoes that actually go good with what I plan to wear. What are so good stores to shop at for shoes, blazers, tanks, shorts, pants, and basically all of the above?
Wow quite a broad list. So you basically want us to tell you where to buy a whole new wardrobe?
Have you tried….THE MALL?
k. sorry. that was not helpful…uhm. hmm.
We buy most of our “basics” (which I guess is what we would group those items into) from Uniqlo and J.Crew because they have a good selection of everything you mentioned at an affordable price. For shoes we usually buy direct from the store of the brand we want, either online or in person. Department stores though, are good for shoes. Buy some oxfords in tan suede or brown leather to wear with your shorts this summer. Or some Sperry’s. Leave some extra money in your budget for alterations too. =)

Q:where is a nice place to get some button down shirts, other than urban outfitters?
The sale rack at any store…or the internet.
Just kidding. Not everything on sale is good. But for a versatile all around shirt at an affordable price try J.Crew. They usually have tons of sales too so you can get great discounts.

Q:What are your opinions on the store Express? Do you ever shop there?
…
…
Can’t say we really shop there. Something about their style just doesn’t mesh with our aesthetic. Plus the material for their dress shirts just feels weird. And their pants always feel like they’re cut for taller people. Just too baggy for us. It also seems a little overpriced for what it is.
Hopefully this doesn’t offend anyone, but hey, you asked!
