White Denim
White denim is an essential this spring. The weather’s getting warmer so it’s time to give your raw denim a rest and put on something fresh. If you’re feeling a bit hesitant to wear a pair of jeans this bright…don’t be. They’re a neutral so they’ll go with anything you already have in your closet. Typically white and navy is a classic combo so stick with that if you’re not feeling super adventurous - you can’t go wrong. As always, buy a pair with a slim fit and don’t be afraid to experiment with different looks. Roll them up and pair them with sneakers and a tee for a casual look or tuck in a button down and throw on some oxfords to dress them up. Whatever you do, just be careful around red wine and grass stains. Other than that, wear them as much as you want.

Oversized Sweaters
Baggy sweaters are one of my favorite things to wear in the colder months. They look great over a fitted dress shirt or henley or simply by themselves. The look is comfy yet cool and pretty much works for everyone. Here’s Dustin doing his best Amish chimney sweep impression up on our roof.

Fall Colors, Part 2
Fall colors doesn’t always have to be warm earth tones. For this outfit we paired bright jeans with a light cardigan and henley for a different take. Here’s Dustin doing lots of squinting and not smiling on the roof.

Urban Backpacker
I am still not over my obsession with stretch denim or bright colored pants. Here’s another outfit that combines the two. The quilted jacket is one of my favorite new pieces for fall. Heavy enough to wear on its own as a fall jacket, but light enough to wear under a peacoat during the winter. Also love the leather details on the backpack. I believe I had a similar bag when I was a kid and now I really wish I kept it.

I’m Ready For Layering…
It was probably about 11pm when I took this pic and now we’re just clearly playing dress up. Can you tell I just got new jeans? Must. Make. Sure. Everything I own works well with them so I can feel confident with my purchase.
